Ekaterina Rogatchevskaia, PhD


Ekaterina Rogatchevskaia studied at Moscow State University, where she received her first degree (BA equivalent) in Russian language and literature in 1988. From 1989 until 1998 she worked in the Department of Old Russian Literature, Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Science, where she was awarded her PhD in 1993.

In 1998 Ekaterina Rogatchevskaia became an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Slavonic Languages and Literatures and started to teach on a part-time basis.

Ekaterina Rogatchevskaia is the author of more than 70 published works in Russian and in English. Among her recent publications is the monograph "Tsikl molitv Kirilla Turovskogo: Teksty i issledovaniia", Moscow: Iazyki Russkoi Kul'tury, 1999 (in Russian).
