
Anna graduated with an MA (Krakow) in Russian Philology in 2004 (thesis: Женский мир в драмах А, [The Women's World in the Dramas by A. P. Chekhov]). Now she is continuing her PhD studies at the University of Glasgow concentrating on Russian drama (thesis: Saltykov-Shchedrin's Plays in the Context of 19th-Century Russian Drama). Her research interests focus on Russian dramaturgy, with special interest given to the period of the 19th century. She has been teaching Russian in the Slavonic Studies Section of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (2006/2007).
