will be held at King’s College, University of Aberdeen
on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2001
Organised by the Elphinstone Institute and the Department of English of the University of Aberdeen in conjunction with the Association for Scottish Literary Studies
Revised and updated version of many of these papers, along with other essays on Gibbon’s works, are available in A Flame in the Mearns, published June 2003 by ASLS.
